After touring the New York International Gift Fair today, I remain cautiously optimistic that my set of gold flatware, which I inherited from my father's parents, might suddenly come back into fashion. One of my all-time favorite homewares brands, Canvas, was showing not one but TWO sets of gold-colored forks, knives and spoons at the show (see above).What do you think, dear readers? Could warm metallic flatware be chic again?

i was actually looking at the gold flatware yesterday and tried to purchase some from canvas only to find them sold out. i'm also really into brass and have been trying to find some reasonably priced korean brass bowls
